NFLCC Show Calendar

NFLCC shows and events are a chance to get together with other collectors and buy, sell, and trade fishing tackle. You must be a member to attend an NFLCC-sanctioned show, but you can usually get a temporary membership or buy a full membership at the show. You can usually participate in room trading before and after the show. You can rent tables at most shows, but reserve early, as many popular show sell out! We promise that you will never be disappointed in attending a show.

March 5-6, 2010 Indianapolis, IN Region 5 Show Jim Buchanan 765-653-3670 nflccindy@gmail.com	The 27th NFLCC Region 5 sanctioned spring 2010 show will be held March 5 and 6, 2010 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2010 Region Show will feature two show rooms with more than 110 tables available. Tables are $25 each and show admission is $10. The show rooms are directly across from each other for easy access. Early table registration is encouraged as it is highly likely that tables will sell out for this show. The show rooms are located in the hotel and room trading will be held on Thursday, March 4th. Show hours are Friday, March 5, from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 6, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The show will be held at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, 2930 Waterfront Parkway Drive, Indianapolis. Show hosts, Jim Buchanan and Carl Schaum, have secured a room rate of $69 for double or single rooms. Call 317-299-8400 and mention the “Lure Show” to book rooms at the special rate. The hotel features an indoor heated pool, hot tub, free continental breakfast and internet access. Club shop, raffles, door prizes, member auction, and public action will be available at the show. March 27 - 28, 2010 Palmyra, New York Steve Hays 315-597-4793 shays@rochester.rr.com	The NFLCC Region 1 sanctioned spring 2010 show will be held at the Palmyra Inn, 955 Canandaigua Road (State Route 21) in Palmyra, New York, 14522, located approximately 5 miles north of Route 21 from the NYS Thruway (Interstate 90), Exit 43. The Inn offers an exercise room, jacuzzi spa, free continental breakfast with a microwave and fridge in every room. The inn is a smokefree building. We will sell out all tables for this show so do not wait. Call and make room and table reservations now by calling 1-800-426-9900. Mention NFLCC Fishing Tackle Show for super-special room rate. A few 2-bedroom suites are available at our special rate on a first come, first serve basis. Room block expires Feb. 28 or when sold out. By reserving under our group rate you agree to comply with NFLCC guidelines and show rules for registration. Room trading on Thursday and Friday. Saturday show hours are 7:30 a.m. set-up for table holders only; 9:00 a.m. for members without tables. Show closes 5 to 7 p.m. for dinner break and reopens 7-9 p.m. Sunday show hours are 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The annual Region 1 business meeting and VP election will be held Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Show features Club Shop, 50/50 raffle and auction. There will be extensive promotion of this show to the public. Items arriving at the show for appraisal and sale from the public will be sold by auction to all present. Show registration is $10 for each person attending, having tables, or just room trading at the hotel. Six foot tables are $25 each. Table holders must setup and display in show area. Bring your own tablecloths or coverings. Table registration deadline is Feb. 28, 2010 or until sold out. No refunds after this date. The show begins with room trading on Thursday & Friday at the Best Western Temple Inn & Suites 602 North General Bruce Drive, Temple, Texas.The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to IH 35.The rooms include free high speed internet, microwave and small refrigerator. There is also a free continental breakfast served daily. Be advised the hotel is a small two story hotel that fills up quickly. Mention the NFLCC to receive the discounted rate of $69.95 per night. NFLCC National Show July 8-10, 2010 Knoxville, TN Bob Beebe Phil Dawson	The 2010 NFLCC National Show and Meeting will be held on Thursday July 8, 2010 through Saturday July 10, 2010 in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Knoxville Convention Center. Mark your calendar now! Registration forms will appear in the December 2010 Gazette and are available here on this website. The host hotels are the Holiday Inn Downtown, next to the Knoxville Convention Center (KCC), and the Hilton Knoxville which is one block , from the Convention Center. Check the KCC and the NFLCC website for directions and overflow hotels. Rates are $100.00 per night. This rate applies 5 days prior to and through the show dates (Saturday night). Check the hotel web sites for details and cancellation policies. Please identify yourself as an NFLCC member when reserving your room to insure the show rate. Reservations must be made prior to June 19, 2010 to guarantee rates. Please make reservation promptly. Show hours are: Thurs July 8 - move in 7:30AM Show 9:00AM to 7:00PM Friday July 9 - 10:30AM to 7:00PM - Auction 7:00PM to 12:00AM Sat July 10 - 8:00AM to 1:00PM Advance show registration is $25.00 per member which includes spouse and children. Region 10 Tackle Collector’s Meet November 11-13, 2010 Red Lion Hotel Bakersfield, California Glen Brewton, 661-399-1580 Harmon White, 661-858-0188	Please join us for this year’s Region 10 show at the Red Lion Hotel- Bakersfield. This will be a one day show on Saturday, November 13, with room trading Thursday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 12. Show hours on Saturday are from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Table holders can enter at 7:30 to set up. The show will be held in the hotel’s main ballroom. The general public/non-members will be invited to attend the show starting at 9:00 am upon purchase of a temporary one day membership. Items arriving at the show for appraisal and sale by the general public will be sold at auction to all present. Club shop items will be available for sale. The 30th annual Region #6 Great Milwaukee Classic will be held January 14-15, 2011. The location will be the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield, 375 S. Moorland Rd, BROOKFIELD, WI. Call toll free number. 1-866-500-0339 be sure to mention NFLCC. Reservations must be made by January 5. The hotel is right off of I-94 exit 301B. The show hours are 9am to 6pm Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday. Tables are still $25.00 each with no limit. Your registration is included with your table. Registration without a table is still $5.00. Setup on Friday is 8am. There will be security in the exhibit halls on Friday night. This show is open to the public and there will be silent auctions on both days. Something new for the wives. There is a large shopping mall in the same parking area. Not to mention a lot of eateries in the area. Unlike years past this hotel is perfect for room trading. We will be in the same area and there are plenty of elevators. There is plenty of parking too. For those flying in there is complimentary airport shuttle service. Call from the courtesy phone outside baggage claim area #4. As always there will be free show and tell space available.
