NFLCC Show Calendar

NFLCC shows and events are a chance to get together with other collectors and buy, sell, and trade fishing tackle. You must be a member to attend an NFLCC-sanctioned show, but you can usually get a temporary membership or buy a full membership at the show. You can usually participate in room trading before and after the show. You can rent tables at most shows, but reserve early, as many popular show sell out! We promise that you will never be disappointed in attending a show.

October 21-22, 2011 Osage Beach, Missouri Jeff Green (573) 480-3939 Rebecca Green (573) 280-5726	The 17th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Fishing Tackle Show will be held on October 21 and 22, 2011 at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri. Room trading will take place on the evening of Friday, October 21, 2011, and the show will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22nd, 2011. Hotel reservations can be made by calling Tan-Tar-A Resort at (800) 826-8272 or (573) 348-3131. Be sure to mention the Tackle Show to receive the special rate for the show. Admission to the show on Saturday is $10 for the whole family and $20 for a display table. Please be sure to reserve your tables in advance to ensure availability. The show is held in Windgate Hall, below the sleeping rooms, and underground parking is available for ease in loading and unloading. Coffee and donuts will be provided on Saturday morning for the show. Lake of the Ozarks offers a wide array of shopping, dining and attractions for the entire family to enjoy. Phone the hotel at 1-800-348-1999 and ask for block number 1011. Our 50 room block will be held until September 16. Room rates are $78.00 for a standard room with 2 double beds. This rate includes 2 breakfast entrees. If you would like to include breakfast and a fine evening meal at a great price contact the hotel for a special package deal. The food is great! For a first floor room (there are no elevators), you will need to get your reservation in EARLY. Last year all first floor blocked rooms sold out quickly. The show hours are 7 am to 1 pm with table set up starting at 6 am, NFLCC members enter at 7 am and the public can enter at 8 am. Entry fee is $5.00 and includes spouse and immediate family 18 and under. Table rental is $20.00 per table. There will be room trading Friday night in the hotel and a pizza party for registered attendees. October 23, 2011 Region 2 Tackle Collector's Meet Grantville/Hershey, Pennsylvania Thomas Allen	This year’s Region 2 show - formerly the ALLENTOWN SHOW - will be held at the Holiday Inn located off Interstate 81, Exit 80 at 604 Station Road, Grantville, PA 17028. Mention NFLCC for super-special room rate of $81+tax. You must request a microwave and fridge for 4-6 room nights, there is a one-time $50 charge; for 3 or less room nights $10 per appliance per night. Room block expires Oct. 8 or when sold out. This year's show is 1 day only on Sunday Oct. 23 2011. Show hours are 8:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. Show features Club Shop, 50/50 raffles. There will be extensive promotion of this show to the public. Items arriving at the show for appraisal and sale from the public will be sold by auction to all present. Show registration is $10 for each person attending, having tables, or just room trading at the hotel. Eight foot (8’) tables are $25 each. Table holders must set up and display in the show area. Table registration deadline is Saturday October 8th, 2011 or until sold out. There will be no refunds after this date. Harvey Musselman (206) 526-5814 oldbassman@hotmail.com	he Region 9, 24th consecutive NFLCC Fall Kelso, Washington show will be held Friday, Nov. 4 and Sat. Nov. 5, 2011 at the Kelso Red Lion Hotel, I-5, Exit 39 in Kelso, Washington. Monte Martinson has negotiated with the hotel for a room rate of $65.95 per night for standard rooms and $70.95 per night for deluxe rooms. Breakfast at the hotel will be $5. We have a block of 50 rooms that will be available to us at the reduced rate for reservations made by Oct. 31, 2011. Please be sure and mention NFLCC or "lure meet" when you make your reservations to get the reduced rate. Hotel phone number is (360) 636-4400. Additionally, Monte has reserved meeting dates for the next two years (2012 through 2013). Dates are the first Saturdays in April and November. We look forward to seeing you at future meets. Show hours for this meet are 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the ballroom. All registered show attendees and table holders are welcome into the ballroom at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Public is welcome to attend this show at 9:00 a.m. for a fee of $5 (one day membership in the NFLCC). Cost of registration is $10 for members and $10 for their guests (spouses and children are free). Show tables are $15 each with a limit of three. It is recommended to register early as tables have sold out in past shows. Monte and the hotel staff have reconfigured the ballroom to accommodate all tableholders in the main ballroom. November 10-12, 2011 Bakersfield, California Glen Brewton (661) 399-1580 Harmon White (661) 858-0188	The NFLCC Region 10 show will be held Nov. 10 - 12, 2011 from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Hotel Rosedale (601) 327-0681, 2400 Camino del Rio Ct., in Bakersfield, CA 93308. Hotel Rosedale is located one block west of the junction of Freeway 99 and Hwy. 58 (Rosedale Hwy. exit) Hotel provides complimentary continental breakfast buffet and transportation to and from Meadows Field airport, located about 5 miles from the hotel. Hotel has full service bar and grill and there are several nice restaurants within walking distance. Room rates are $75 + tax. Mention NFLCC tackle show for special room rate. Call 661-327-0681 for reservations. There is also a full-service R.V. park adjacent to the hotel. This is a one day show. Table charge is $25; admittance/registration $10 (family members free). The general public/non-members will be invited to attend starting at 9:00 am upon purchase of a temporary one-day club membershp. Items arriving at the show for appraisal and sale by the general public will be sold at auction to all present. Club shop items will be available for sale. A raffle will be held during the show. January 14, 2012 Carthage, Missouri Casey Jones (417) 276-1812 Bill Bates (417) 887-0145	The 25th Annual Ozarks NFLCC Meet will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at the Memorial Hall (4th and Garrison Streets) in Carthage, Missouri beginning at 7:00 a.m. The host hotel is - once again - the Econolodge, 1441 W. Central in Carthage. Room trading will be Friday, Jan. 13th. Hotel can be contacted at (417) 358-3900 for reservations. Mention that you are with the NFLCC show. The room rate is $51.99 for either two full beds or a single king. A hospitality room is planned for Friday afternoon at the hotel. Registration for the show is $10 and a single table is $20 if only one is being reserved. For those reserving more than one table they are $15 each. The location will be the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield, 375 S. Moorland Rd, BROOKFIELD, WI. Call toll free number. 1-866-500-0339 be sure to mention NFLCC. Reservations must be made by January 12. The hotel is right off of I-94 exit 301B. The show hours are 9am to 6pm Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday. Tables are still $25.00 each with no limit. Your registration is included with your table. Registration without a table is still $5.00. Setup on Friday is 8am. PUBLIC : FRIDAY 11:00am-6:00pm and SATURDAY 9:00am-1:00pm. There will be security in the exhibit halls on Friday night. This show is open to the public and there will be silent auctions on both days. Something new for the wives. There is a large shopping mall in the same parking area. Not to mention a lot of eateries in the area. This hotel is perfect for room trading. We will be in the same area and there are plenty of elevators. There is plenty of parking too. For those flying in there is complimentary airport shuttle service. Call from the courtesy phone outside baggage claim area #4. As always there will be free show and tell space available. But you must let me know ahead of time.

July 19-21, 2012 National Show and Meeting Fort Wayne, Indiana Bob King 260-403-5391 bbk4@hotmail.com David Saalfrank 260-622-7107 davidasaalfrank@gmail.com	The 2012 NFLCC National Show & Meeting will be held in Fort Wayne, IN. – JULY 19th, 20th &21st, 2012 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center 120 West Jefferson Blvd. The host hotel is the Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Center, which is attached to the convention center. There are 200 rooms blocked at this hotel. The back up hotel is the Courtyard by Marriot-Fort Wayne Downtown at Grand Wayne Convention Center 1150 South Harrison St. and is connected to the convention center by an overhead walkway, and there are 100 rooms blocked at this hotel. Both hotels have more rooms available for the NFLCC show. Show rates at both Hotels are $99.00 + applicable taxes (1 to 4 people) with children 18 and under staying free with parents in the same room. This rate applies from the Sunday prior to the show to the Saturday night of the show. Suites are offered at a $20 more, if available.
